Catherine graduated from Queen's University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in 2005 and McMaster University with a Master of Science (Physiotherapy) in 2007. She has 12 years of experience working in both hospital-based neurological rehabilitation and acute care settings. Populations treated include: stroke, acquired brain injury, Parkinson's, MS, and amputees. Catherine has completed post-graduate training in aquatic physical therapy, pelvic health, and neurological rehabilitation. Catherine is also an Authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program to prescribe mobility aids and lower limb prostheses.
Catherine is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. She is a member of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) and is a NDT certified therapist. Catherine has worked in Barrie, ON, Queensland, Australia and Oamaru, New Zealand. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and outdoor adventures with her husband, daughter and Vizsla pup Airlie.
